Happy Birthday!!!

Hello everyone. It's been a few months since my last post. 

Today I made a little drawstring bag from some cute little fabric I found at Joann's in the quilting section. I sprayed adhesive on a piece of fabric and glued it to a piece of card stock. I ran it thru my cuddle bug using a Papertry Ink die cut. I also die cut a bow from felt using a Wplus9 die. I glued on some crochet ribbon with fabric tac. Now all I have to do is fill it with some goodies and hand it over to my nephew's fiancé...

Hello! I am participating in the August 2013 Papertrey Blog Hop for the vey 1st time. 

 

the challenge was to pick a color + sketch combo and create from it. I picked the Fajita-Style Quesadilla for my color + sketch.

I used the Hands of Time stamp set along with it's coordinating dies; Clock Face, Hands of Time and Number Time Trio.

SERVICE

 

Hello friends… A few weeks ago I received Abel’s ashes. I wasn’t mentally or emotionally prepared for them.  Not that I should of have been. I didn’t know how I was supposed to react. But then again, no one does.  It hasn’t been easy. I went to work feeling upset that I had to be there. But in all honesty, I am glad I did. It has helped me very much.   

 

 

This Saturday we will be having a service at our local church for family and friends.

 

I made this memory cards. I was going to purchase them online but I couldn’t find any that I liked. After a few days of online searching I thought to myself – I can make these, yeah I can. That’s exactly what I did. I took out this cute little wooden stamp from Stampendous! called Shepherd Angel. Cut my cardstock from Papertrey Ink & got to work.

Hello! I have a few thank you cards I need to send out to all those sweet people that helped us throughout this difficult time.

 

Here is my 1st card - all product used is from Papertrey Ink, I absolutely love their product. I haven't been stamping long. I started about 3 years ago when my daughter Sofia turned 15. We had a Quinceañera for her. I made all the favors, center pieces and invitations for her. Right away I was hooked.

 

 

I have been paper crafting ever since. Abel had been supportive and he was my biggest critic. I miss that. He would always give me his most honest opinion of what he thought about my cards.

So now, I am in the blogging world to get other peoples opinions since I no longer have my critic.  

 

HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY MY JELLY BEAN

Hello bloggers!!! Today is my baby girl's 18th birthday.

 

 

It's unbelievable how time flies right by. It seems like just yesterday she was born and

now turning 18. It is a happy and sad occasion. My baby girl is growing up.

I am proud of who she has become and what she has accomplished. .

 

I love you Sofia, Happy Birthday!

I finally found the courage to create my blog!!!

 

I want to dedicate it to my husband Abel. 

 

I lost Abel to Malignant Metastatic Myxoid Liposarcoma (Cancer) on June 9, 2013. Abel made the decision to donate himself to MedCure for medical science and educational research.

 

As I journey through the blogging world, I will share my life journey with you. I will introduce you to this wonderful and amazing man that God had blessed me to of have known, live and loved.

I will also introduce you to my teens, pets and me (of course). I will also share crafty projects...
